DELHI POLYTECHNIC 2019

The Department of Traning and Technical Education of Delhi conduct Common Entrance Test(CET) each year for admission in different DELHI POLYTECHNIC collage. On the basis of merit DELHI POLYTECHNIC collages give admission after counseling. The exam conducted in offline mode with multiple choice questions. There are total 11 collage in Delhi who take admission on the basis of seat secured in counseling. The counseling is online. DELHI POLYTECHNIC collage prepare over 50000 diploma engineers per year. The placement of these collage average 80% which is best in any state in India. DELHI POLYTECHNIC collages have good track record in placement. The Pusa job fair is another benefit for those students who missed the job in campus placement.


Delhi Common entrance examination (CET) 2019

Delhi Common entrance examination (CET) is a state level entrance examination which is conducted by the Department of training and technical education (DTTE) formally known as Board of Technical Education (BTE) Delhi. The test is conducted at various centers in Delhi probably in May or June. 85% seats are reserved for Delhi students and 15% seats of total intake seats are reserved for outside Delhi students. OBC and SC/ST reservation is applicable as Government rule. Seat allotment is done through the centralize counseling on the basis of merit and categories.

Eligibility

Students who have passed vocational /ITI, 10th, 12th from CBSE board or any other equivalent board are eligible for Delhi CET. The minimum marks for 10th class for participating in Delhi CET is 35% aggregate in science, mathematics and English or minimum passing grades. For lateral entry there are different tests. Test 01,02,03,04 and 05 for different streams. The detailed information about eligibility is given below:

TEST 01

Candidates applying for diploma courses The candidates should have obtained 35% aggregate in science, mathematics and English in 10th class from CBSE or any other board.

TEST 02

(A) For candidates applying for Modern Office
Practice (English)

(B) For candidates applying for one year certificate courses (Hospitality Operations, Retail Services and Finance Executive) in WCSC. The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of best three subjects including English The subject English is compulsory for Modern Office Practice (English) & WCSC courses and the candidate should have obtained pass marks in this subject.

TEST 03

For candidates applying for Modern Office Practice (Hindi) The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 (Academic) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School
Certificate with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate of best three subjects including Hindi/Sanskrit. The subject Hindi/Sanskrit is compulsory for Modern Office Practice (Hindi).

TEST 04

(A) For candidates applying for Pharmacy
(B) For candidates applying for one year certificate course: Soft ware Testing Assistant in WCSC. The candidate should have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class-XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other examination recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate exam of the CBSE with minimum 45% marks (40% for
SC/ST) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & either Biology or Mathematics .The subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and either
Mathematics or Biology are compulsory and the candidate should have pass marks in these subjects. As per directions issued by the Pharmacy Council of India vide their letter No. 14-2/2007-PCI-13143, dated 27.12.2007, the candidates who have appeared/passed through National Institute of Open Schooling
shall not be considered for admission.

Note: Eligibility for students passed from NIOS / Distance Education will be as per decision of Hon’ble Court / Delhi Government.

TEST 05

For admission of 10+2 Vocational Engineering Stream pass outs / ITI pass outs against 10%supernumerary seats in analogous disciplines of Architectural Assistantship, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering
(Construction Technology), Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering (Digital Electronics), Electronics
Engineering (Medical Electronics), Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Maintenance Engineering), – (Polymer Technology, Production Engineering and Civil
Engineering, (Public Health & Environmental Engineering), Information Technology Enabled
Services & Management (ITES &M) Tools & Die making The candidate should have passed analogous 12th Vocational (Engg.) stream of CBSE or equivalent from Schools located only in Delhi with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of best five subjects for which marks are reflected in the mark sheet.
OR

Passed 10th class of CBSE or equivalent +
2years ITI(Engg) from ITI s/ITCs. The ITI s/ ITCs must be from Institutes located only in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/BTE, Delhi with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all subjects reflected in the mark sheet.
